Home

I live uptown Manhattan in 155 8th ave and its a really nice neighborhood and the people are nice too, Most people say is bad there is a lot of colored people which is just a stereotype because they are nice people and fun to talk to they always have a story to say .

Home is where i can say anything i want and not worry about what people might think of me because my family always corrects my and allow me to express myself and yeah there are times in which i say the most funniest thing and my mom always tell me to be quite that i have no idea of what i'm saying which i kinda like it because she's honest and tells me where i'm wrong and where i'm right

When i come home is always smells like Dominican food sometime it smells like fired green banana or white rice and meat with beans because that what we all like to eat the only day me mom nor dad cook are like on the weekend when we buy food from the Chinese or pizza but that like once a month because my dad doesn't like it when my mom don't cook he tells her she its not good for our health that outside food has too much oil and fat that can cause deceases. Which i obviously  disagree because if it was bad for you they would not sell it and is not like we are buying out side food every day because there he would have a point.

Home feel like a kid play ground because it a fun, and safe place to be. I used kids playground because is a innocent places to because nothing ever happens just kids having fun and that much like home to me i have everything i need and make me happy there and I'm safe and well treated.

In my home i find people who i can call family best-friend who are trust worthy and dependable, responsible .

Learning (New York City Attractions)

New York City is a awesome place because it has so many places you can go to but, one of my favorite places to go is Central Park because you can play baseball, go bike riding and even have a little picnic with your family or friends.
Central Park is located in Manhattan it's all the way  from 110 street to 59th street. As you can see the park has many wonders and that's one thing I love about it you might never know what you might  experience with friends and family.

Central park has a zoo in which you can see all type of animals like tigers, hyenas, zebras and hippopotamus, also all types of  monkeys such as chimpanzees and you can learn a bit about animals . Is the best way to learn and spend time with your family, because the zoo it open for everyone, for more information about the zoo you can visit their web http://www.centralparkzoo.com/plan-your-trip/hours-and-rates.aspx.

Another place Central Park has, is an Ice Skating Rink in which you can go ice skating with you friends and family, and have all the fun that you can imagine by spending time with all the people you know, also you can meet new people and interact socially, just by taking a trip to Wollman Rink. For more information you can visit their web page http://www.centralparknyc.org/things-to-see-and-do/attractions/wollman-rink.html.

Lasker Pool is also one of Central Park attractions which becomes a rink during winter time. The Lasker Pool has a small pool for kids and a larger pool for grown ups , visitors can attended the pool every of the summer from the end of June through Labor Day. The free pool provides a snack bar, lockers for everyone who goes to the pool. For more information about the pool you can go to their website http://www.centralpark.com/guide/attractions/lasker-pool-rink.html.

Blog Post 3 - Sexuality Differences

"My girlfriend’s parents are really religious. The first time I met them, they called her later and asked: ‘Is your new friend struggling with her sexuality?’"

To whom it may concern ,

Parents just want the the best for their kids and that why everything you do they want to know about it because they want to take care of you and help you out after all they are your parents . When is come to talking to your family or to anyone about your sexuality it can be real hard and its understandable because not everyone is going to react the same way . For example some parent may be okay with it but others like religious parents might believe something different but people are allow to choose what they like and don't and maybe at first your parents won't accept it but people can change you mind. But in my opinion make shore that your are close to the person that your telling this to because you can just tell a person you don't really talk to about your sexuality .
When telling people this type of personal information  you have to be shore 100% positive and confident because you can say something today and say something else tomorrow . Most parents react in a negative way and tend not to believe what their telling you but if thats the case is because they don't know what do and mostly blame their self about it because after all they are the ones who took care of you and etc.. But just tell them that your happy the way you are and nothing would make you happier if they accepted you for being gay or Les , bi or trans don't make you a different person theirs no need for a different treatment because your the same person but choose a different sexuality . Just don't worry if someone don't accept you the way you are that means they didn't really love you and you don't need people who wont accept you for who you truly are because like i said before your sexuality preference doesn't matter .

Article Respons

Technology has been  making a lot of progress threw out the years i remember when i was younger my parents didn't like me spending much time in the computer but now they have me teaching them how to do thing online because it much easier and faster for everyone . I totally agree with the fact that technology help everyone with learning, why? because we have Google and we can find everything and anything there . I also agree with student being able to use computer in class as well as being able to do project surfing the internet because they are not just learning about the internet and how it work but the can also be able to see if this is something they want to do in their future .

I myself em able to us computers in class sometime teacher would make us search about colleges or about famous people like Nelson Mandela or even watch a movie about world war I and ask us to write about what we learned. Now everything is much easier and faster before to learn or be able to access information like this would have to go to any local library and look threw so many books and know with the press of a button you have all the information you need .

Circle Activity Response

Today i spoke to my classmate and we spoke about how technology made our lives easier we first talk about weather we experience the same things for example helping someone with technology and this person told me about how he help his mother and taught her how to send a text message and etc.. which I've also done myself once i actually help my mother change her hot mail password because she couldn't get in he account and i showed her step by step and threw time she know how to defend her self when it comes to the Internet . When you notice that your not the only person who goes to google for help with your homework you can actually connect to that person because you actually have something in common this is why when people first meet they talk a bit about their self and later on notice that you and that person have thing in common or not and it determines weather you and that get closer or not . When someone experiences something that I've never been threw i actually then to ask more question and us it in the future if i ever happen to go threw the same as they did .
